Starting in professional practice managing property maintenance and refurbishments, Brian moved into new build project management and then into facilities management. He is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 40 year’s experience across a wide range of property types including commercial, industrial, retail, justice and primary healthcare.

Projects delivered have been complex and varied. Brian has taken projects from inception through award to completion and occupation, working with design and build as well as traditional contracts.
Brian’s experience includes working in professional consultancies, property development companies, retail groups and facilities management providers. This provides him with the ability to understand the different viewpoints and requirements of all stakeholders involved in projects.
With strong customer focus and confident communication skills, he is capable of dealing with multiple projects and operating at all levels within an organisation.
Current projects include new build residential apartment blocks and fit out of sports stadium hospitality areas. Recent projects include office refurbishment projects with multiple phases and decants of existing occupants within multi-tenanted buildings.
Brian has worked in a wide variety of sectors including financial institutions, commercial properties, Business Improvement Districts, primary healthcare, courts and prisons, motor dealerships and residential.
Brian regularly prepares contract documents and undertakes procurement of building projects and facilities management services as well as managing those contracts during construction and occupation.
